Creative Movement:

Bring your child to explore the joy of movement expression with creative thinking exercises. Creative Movement is an educational activity that targets children's cognitive skills through the use of movement expression. Symbolic play, creativity, problem solving and motor skills are some of the domains addressed in structured movement lessons. Instructor Andrea de Almeida holds a B.A. in Education and has taught dance for children in Brazil and the USA for several years. She is currently an M.A. candidate in Physical Education and Recreation with specialization in Dance at the University of Alberta.

Relaxation Classes for Adults:

Once a week, a chance to let go of stress and pressure. Connecting with body, mind, and spirit.

Macgregor Soccer School:

The Macgregor Soccer School is now in its fourth year at Centre Greene. Indoor group classes are offered from September to May for boys and girls ages 6 - 15. This unique program focuses on developing good technique and skills in a fun environment. Class size is limited so each player gets individual attention from a qualified instructor.

Chinese Language School (Kui Hua Xue Xiao):

The mission of Chinese Language School is to sensitize children, in particular adopted Chinese children, to the Chinese culture and to teach, with the best of our knowledge and capabilities, how to comprehend and communicate in the Mandarin language. During classes, children have access to a semi-private atmosphere of learning that encourages active participation. Through educational games, association exercises, and songs, the student is able to learn as he/she plays. Compared to similar programmes, our classes are smaller, our schedule is more flexible, and there is direct teacher-parent contact. Verbal communication is prioritized over the written word.

Costs and schedules of these programmes can be found on our Programmes page.
